EDL On-Grid System

EDL On-Grid System

HOW IT WORKS

The design of the following system will look as follows

DURING THE DAY

When EDL is On

When EDL is Off

When the sun rays hit the panels, electrical energy is produced and converted into 50 Hz, 220/380 V by the inverter. The electricity produced feeds directly the needed load, and the surplus is fed to the grid. See About Net-Metering for more details.

When the grid is off, you take free electrical energy from the solar system without consuming anything from your generator's subscription.

DURING THE NIGHT

When EDL is On

When EDL is Off

During the night, you consume from the energy fed into the grid during the shiny days.

When the grid is off, you consume energy from your generator's subscription, and you pay for what you consume.
